Each of these procedures is a very safe procedure and 99% of the time there are no complications. The most common potential complications are side effects from the medication such as insomnia, irritability, anxiousness, and nervousness. These tend to last 48 hours. The most common potential complications from the needle procedure can include but is not exclusive bleeding, infection, headache, nerve damage, allergic reaction, death, paralysis, although these are very unlikely.
